Can you tell if a man is gay

Previous research has established that people can tell, more often than not, whether a man is gay or linear from his voice alone. This ability to identify same-sex attracted men from their voice has been dubbed “gaydar”—that is, a kind of radar for spotting gayness.

The reason why the voices of gay men maintain to be clear from those of straight men has been widely debated. Since we understand that sexual orientation is due to the way that the brain was formed during prenatal development, it may be the case that these intellect differences also conduct to vocal patterns and behavioral mannerisms that are typically gay.

Other psychologists, though, contend that the “gay voice” comes from social knowledge. As men interact with the male lover community, they pluck up ways of speaking and acting that signal membership in the collective. After all, we all learn to adjust the way we talk and behave according to the standards of the various groups we belong to.

Whether the gay voice is due to nature or nurture, it’s also the case that lgbtq+ men no longer have to mask their identity. This is because world has becom

My longtime friend and colleague Dr. Joe Kort has been treating and writing about gender and sexual orientation issues for nearly three decades. In his Royal Oaks, Michigan, rehearse, Joe specializes in Queer Affirmative Psychotherapy and IMAGO Relationship Therapy, often treating men who are questioning their sexual orientation. This population is the concentrate of his new and much-needed book: Is My Husband Gay, Straight, or Bi? A Guide for Women Concerned About Their Men. I am pleased that Joe has written this book, as I have had to deal with these questions in my own practice relatively often, as have many other therapists. I recently spoke with Joe about the book, and I wanted to share a few of his thoughts below.

What prompted you to write this book?

There are two main reasons. Number one is the tall incidence of male-female couples entering my office because the woman thinks her man might be lgbtq+. More often than not, he’s not gay or even bi. He’s actually straight, but for whatever reason, he’s been looking at gay porn or he’s been having sex with men.

Number two is that

Before you begin your Freudian psychoanalysis, make sure to mention that you own a ‘gay-dar’, and don’t forget to detail how accurate it is and has always been. Frame it as an insurmountable achievement of yours. After all, it is much more prestigious than existence awarded a Rhodes Scholarship. There’s no need to think about the reliability or accuracy of your data collection because you don’t have any, so just launch straight in.

Not everybody can be a gay or lesbian. There is a specific ability to identifying those of us who are. Here are some tell-tale signs that someone is a gay or lesbian:

The first thing to take mention of when deciding someone’s sexuality on their behalf, namely whether a dude is gay or not, is to observe how high-pitched their voice is. The more high-pitched their usual speaking voice is, the more likely it is that you are talking to a queer person. This is because the pitch of your voice has nothing to do with biology: it’s actually determined by your sexuality. Forget what scientists say – they’re all just conspiracy theorists, really.

Many women find this question unthinkable but according to Bonnie Kaye, , an maestro in women married to queer men, it is estimated that 4 million women have been, or are, married to same-sex attracted men. If a husband is gay, it can devastate not only the relationship but the straight wife as well.

Signs of a Gay Husband – Is My Man Gay?

The clearest way to know if your husband is gay is if he tells you. If the husband is honest with both you and with himself (read: How Do I Know If I Am Gay? Signs You Are Gay), that is when you can truly know that he is gay. Unfortunately, it is estimated that 50% of queer husbands hide their homosexuality from their wives and don't arrive this place of honesty on their own. In many cases, it is the wife, who after suspecting that something is wrong, must confront the lgbtq+ husband with the evidence, and only then can honestly be achieved.
