“We were in San Diego, and we went to Torrey Pines [State Natural Preserve Park] and there’s this hike to where the beach is. We went up on this rock where it’s out on the rain and I had a photographer there. That’s what I had planned for it,” Darren Waller revealed about his romantic engagement setting with the Las Vegas Aces star Kelsey Plum. Though it melted their admirers’ hearts at that time, the couple walked their separate paths just a year into the marriage. Since then, there have been many developments for the Aces star Kelsey Plum that her fans know of. Except who she is dating.
Since the time Plum has divorced Waller, she has been quiet about her personal life. Although she posts photo dumps with her teammates, celebrating their wins, or sometimes driving fans crazy with her fashion sense. Nonetheless, she doesn’t look to shed much light on her love life. Welcome to my annual Who’s Gay in the WNBA Report! For those of you who are fresh, every year I part down the list of athletes who are openly queer in the league. As a queer person who has played basketball my entire life, the off-court drama is always equally as exciting as the on-court display of skills. Knowing who’s lgbtq+ and who’s dating who only adds to that for me. If you’re more of a pure viewer of the game and prefer only knowing what’s going on while the clock is running, I do regularly craft WNBA TikToks that I like to think are pretty informative!
The league is well known to own some of the optimal pre-game walk-up outfits in all of professional sports, so you’re missing out if you don’t go after at least the @wnba account on Instagram. Here’s a complete list of all out gay players in the league, broken down by team. For my purposes, “Out” means confirmed by the player either in an interview or on their social media. No matter how masculine presenting someone is, I will not be speculating!

So here are ten gay things worth talking about on opening week! Allow me know if you like this style of publish and I’ll aim to keep it going every limited weeks for the whole season! If you don’t prefer it, that’s okay, just don’t be sexist or racist or I’ll simply delete your comment and block you and curse you like a witch.
