Youth Golf Camp helps children build self-confidence while learning essential golf skills

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA — The free 31st Annual P. J. Wilson and Henry Scott Youth Golf Camp will be held on June 2 &#; 11, from 9 &#; 11 a.m. at Eastern Florida Mention College Fred Homosexual Golf Academy, located at State Highway in Cocoa.

Youth Golf Camp helps children build self-confidence while learning essential golf skills like proper course etiquette, actions, and sportsmanship. It also lays the foundation for the goal-setting required for a positive future.

Eastern Florida State College believes every immature person deserves a chance to grasp, play, and expand in a supportive and fun environment. Each camp ends with a organization celebration where a two-year scholarship to EFSC is awarded.

All children, ages 10 &#; 17, are eligible to register. Orientation is required, and will be held on May 31, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the EFSC Cocoa Campus, Bldg. 11

Registration is Open for EFSC Summer Youth Golf Camp

Eastern Florida State College P.J. Wilson and Henry Scott Minority Youth Golf Camp will be held Monday, June 6 through Thursday, June 16 from 9 – 11 a.m. at the EFSC Fred Gay Golf Academy, located at S.R. in Cocoa.

The program is open to all youth, ages 10 to Admission is free, but pre-registration is required.

The camp was created in under the guidance of former EFSC President, Dr. Maxwell King with the assistance of Henry Scott and P.J. Wilson, two Brevard County African American golf professionals and group leaders.

It was designed to provide youth with the basic skills of golf, including golf etiquette, actions and sportsmanship, as successfully as values for prosperous living.

Though its focus is outreach to minority youth, the camp is uncover to all young people.

The camp is for students ages and begins at 9 a.m., June 16 at the EFSC Fred Gay Golf Academy and Driving Range SR in Cocoa. It will run from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday through Thursday through June

The free program teaches students the basic skills of golf including golf course etiquette, conduct and sportsmanship as well as well as values for successful living.

The camp is designed to help construct the participants' self-confidence and provide guidance on setting goals and providing encourage in laying the foundation for positive life advice. Drinks and snacks will be provided at the camp. Students must wear tennis shoes or sneakers. No sandals or flip-flops are allowed.
